Michael Bauer joined Sumner Insurance Services in April of 2024 and serves as a licensed health and life insurance agent. Mike brings a wealth of experience and a passion for holistic financial planning. Mike holds Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses which allow him to provide a comprehensive and personalized approach to offer financial solutions in insurance, annuities, investments, retirement holding accounts, and retirement planning with an emphasis on social security and taxes. With a Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC) designation and a commitment to ongoing professional development, Mike is well-equipped to provide clients with expert guidance and tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.

Driven by the belief that financial planning is about more than just numbers, Michael is dedicated to helping clients understand how various aspects of their financial lives intersect and work together to maximize their resources. Outside of his professional endeavors, Michael is deeply involved in the community and has a passion for giving back, particularly to schools and youth sports programs. He has spent years coaching basketball and baseball, serving on school boards and fundraising committees, and supporting educational initiatives.

A devoted family person, Michael treasures spending time with his 16-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son, who are actively involved in high school sports. His love for sports extends to college basketball, with March Madness being a highlight of his year. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing golf and sharing the experience with his children.
